Ubiquitous in Lebanon this complex spice blend adds a fresh complex flavour to a variety of vegetable, meat and dairy dishes.

A delicious addition to home baked bread (especially flatbreads) or you can mix za’atar with olive oil and spread it over pita bread before heating.

Mix it with olive oil and drizzle it over yogurt or hummus.

Roll extra-thick rounds of labneh or a log of goat cheese in the dry spice mixture.

Mix with olive oil and use as a marinade for vegetables and meats, or plain  as a delicious dry rub.
