Ras el Hanout Blend

Literally translated as ‘Top of the Shop’ (ie: the very best) Ras el Hanout brings out the best in all vegetable and meat dishes.

The flavour profile is ideally suited to lamb, and eggplants but also equally delicious with other meats and perfect for vegetable dishes.

Use as a rub on your chosen meat and allow to rest for 2 hours (or overnight) before BBQing, slow cooking,  air frying or roasting for a flavour experience second to none.

Use a teaspoon or two of Ras el Hanout and some chopped onion as the flavour base for a curry or tagine or try Ras el Hanout in your meatballs or burgers.

Wood Duck Spice’s Ras el Hanout blend combines: nutmeg, coriander seed, cumin, ginger, turmeric, smoked salt, cinnamon, smoked paprika, black pepper, chilli, cardamon, allspice and cloves together to create an incredible rich flavour profile

A flavour profile common across the Middle East, the Ras el Hanout blend is rich but not hot.   If you like your meals HOT then add fresh or dried chilli at the marinade or serving stage.

Sprinkle Ras el Hanout blend over quartered par boiled potatoes, drizzle with olive or vegetable oil, a sprinkle of salt, and roast in a fan forced oven or air fryer for delicious potato wedges.

Use Ras el Hanout to flavour your homemade hoummus, or just sprinkle over a bowl of yoghurt drizzled with some olive oil for the easiest side dish ever!
